How to Find YouTube Live URL
1) Go to YouTube.com
2) Click the "Create" Icon toward the type right which is a camera with a plus symbol inside of it.
3) Choose "Go Live" from the camera icon drop down menu.
4) On the Go Live page, on the left side of the page, choose "Classic Streaming"
5) On the Classic Streaming Page, scroll to the bottom right to find the Share URL.
How to Link to the Share URL
You can link to the Share URL in any of the normal ways you make links on your website.
You can use a text link, but this is likely too small for promoting the live video.
You could use our built in button widget and link the button to the Live Stream Share URL
You could use the image widget and upload in image. You can then click on the image to make it link to the live stream URL.
Can I embed the Live Stream?
YouTube Live Stream URLs can no longer be embedded on websites unless you have an Adsense Account or if you have been streaming live for awhile. Adsense is used for running ads on websites. Creating and establish an Adsense account for the sake of embedding a live stream video is probably beyond the needs and scope of most of our customers. As such, the above tips for finding your YouTube Live URL and linking to it from your website are likely your best course of action.
However, you can try using our website editor YouTube embed widget to see if it will play your Live Stream URL. If it does not, there isn't anything wrong with your website. You'll just have to link o the URL with a text link, button, or image link.
