You may have noticed that when you log into the website editor at sites.web4uonline.com (or the app editor at editor.web4uoline.com) that the browser does not show the SSL (https) connection. It is okay to proceed into this non SSL (https) connection.
The Website Editor and SSL
SSL (https) simply means that everything that is typed into the browser is encrypted as it travels from your browser the server. This is important when entering sensitive information such as credit card information. However, it is not necessary when simply entering content into your website. So, you can proceed to the non SSL website editor.
Your Website and SSL
But, we are able to make your actual live website encrypted with SSL (https). If your live website (not the editor) does not show https and the secure lock icon in the browser, please let us know so that we can turn on SSL (https) for your website. Even for your website, this is only necessary if you have forms that are requesting sensitive information. But, because most browsers like to see SSL (https) we do want to have this turned on for your website.
